ಆಕೆಯು ತ್ವರೆಪಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಕೊಡದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ನೀರನ್ನು ದೋಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಯ್ದು ತಿರಿಗಿ ತರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾವಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಓಡಿ ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಒಂಟೆಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನೀರನ್ನು ತಂದುಕೊಟ್ಟಳು.

- 21ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಸಫಲಮಾಡಿದನೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಆಕೆಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
- 22ಒಂಟೆಗಳು ಕುಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅರ್ಧ ಶೆಕೆಲ್‌ ತೂಕದ ಚಿನ್ನದ ವಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತು ಶೆಕೆಲ್‌ ತೂಕದ ಎರಡು ಕಡಗಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕೆಯ ಕೈಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
