1. 21ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಸಫಲಮಾಡಿದನೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಆಕೆಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
2. 22ಒಂಟೆಗಳು ಕುಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅರ್ಧ ಶೆಕೆಲ್‌ ತೂಕದ ಚಿನ್ನದ ವಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತು ಶೆಕೆಲ್‌ ತೂಕದ ಎರಡು ಕಡಗಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕೆಯ ಕೈಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
3. 23ಅವನು--ನೀನು ಯಾರ ಮಗಳು? ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳು; ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳವಿದೆಯೋ ಅಂದನು.
4. 24ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಕೆಯು ನಾನು ನಾಹೋರನಿಗೆ ಮಿಲ್ಕಳು ಹೆತ್ತ ಬೆತೂವೇಲನ ಮಗಳು ಅಂದಳು.
5. 25ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆಕೆಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಹುಲ್ಲೂ ಮೇವೂ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಇವೆ; ನೀವು ಇಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ಥಳವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಳು.
