ನಾನು ಆಕೆಗೆ--ನೀನು ಯಾರ ಮಗಳು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದೆನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವಳು--ನಾಹೋರ ನಿಗೆ ಮಿಲ್ಕಳು ಹೆತ್ತ ಮಗನಾದ ಬೆತೊವೇಲನ ಮಗಳು ಅಂದಳು. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಆಕೆಗೆ ವಾಲೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೈಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಡಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಟ್ಟು

45ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಮುಗಿಸುವದರೊಳಗಾಗಿ ಇಗೋ, ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಗಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೊಡವನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಳು. ಆಕೆಯು ಬಾವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದು ನೀರನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡು ತಂದಾಗ ನಾನು--ನನಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀರು ಕೊಡು ಎಂದು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದೆನು.
46ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಕೆಯು ತ್ವರೆಪಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಕೊಡವನ್ನು ಹೆಗಲಿನಿಂದ ಇಳಿಸಿ--ನೀನು ಕುಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಒಂಟೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಕುಡಿಸುವೆನು ಅಂದಳು. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಕುಡಿದೆನು; ಆಕೆಯು ಒಂಟೆಗ ಳಿಗೂ ಕುಡಿಸಿದಳು.
47ನಾನು ಆಕೆಗೆ--ನೀನು ಯಾರ ಮಗಳು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದೆನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವಳು--ನಾಹೋರ ನಿಗೆ ಮಿಲ್ಕಳು ಹೆತ್ತ ಮಗನಾದ ಬೆತೊವೇಲನ ಮಗಳು ಅಂದಳು. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಆಕೆಗೆ ವಾಲೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೈಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಡಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಟ್ಟು
48ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಬಾಗಿಸಿ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನ ಸಹೋದರನ ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಯಾಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸರಿಯಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡಿಸಿದ ನನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿದೆನು.
49ಆದ ದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನೊಂದಿಗೆ ದಯ ದಿಂದಲೂ ಸತ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ವರ್ತಿಸುವದಾದರೆ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿರಿ, ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿರಿ. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಬಲಗಡೆಯಾದರೂ ಎಡಗಡೆಯಾದರೂ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
