ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, ಇಸಾಕನ ಸೇವಕರು ಬಂದು ತಾವು ಅಗಿದ ಬಾವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತೆಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

- 34ಏಸಾವನು ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಬೇರಿಯನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಯೆಹೂದೀತ ಳನ್ನೂ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಏಲೋನನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಬಾಸೆಮತಳನ್ನೂ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನಾಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡನು.ಇವರು ಇಸಾಕನಿಗೂ ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಮನೋವ್ಯಥೆ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
