1. 31ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಆಗ ಇಸಾಕನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಅವರು ಸಮಾಧಾನದೊಡನೆ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದರು.
2. 32ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, ಇಸಾಕನ ಸೇವಕರು ಬಂದು ತಾವು ಅಗಿದ ಬಾವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತೆಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
3. 33ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು ಷಿಬಾ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬ ಎಂದು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಸರಾಯಿತು.
4. 34ಏಸಾವನು ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಬೇರಿಯನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಯೆಹೂದೀತ ಳನ್ನೂ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಏಲೋನನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಬಾಸೆಮತಳನ್ನೂ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನಾಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡನು.ಇವರು ಇಸಾಕನಿಗೂ ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಮನೋವ್ಯಥೆ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
5. 35ಇವರು ಇಸಾಕನಿಗೂ ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಮನೋವ್ಯಥೆ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
