ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಇಸಾಕನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದನು. ಇಸಾಕನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ--ಸ್ವರವು ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಸ್ವರವಾಗಿದೆ, ಆದರೆ ಕೈಗಳು ಏಸಾವನ ಕೈಗಳು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

Aaga yaakobanu tanna tandeyaada isaakana hattira bandanu. Isaakanu avanannu mutti--svaravu yaakobana svaravaagide, aadare kaigalu esaavana kaigalu endu helidanu.

20ಇಸಾಕನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ಇಷ್ಟು ಬೇಗ ಅದು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು--ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನೆದುರಿಗೆ ಅದು ಬರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು ಅಂದನು.
21ಆಗ ಇಸಾಕನುನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ನೀನೇ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಏಸಾವನು ಹೌದೋ ಅಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ ನೋಡುವಂತೆ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಾ ಅಂದನು.
22ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಇಸಾಕನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದನು. ಇಸಾಕನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ--ಸ್ವರವು ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಸ್ವರವಾಗಿದೆ, ಆದರೆ ಕೈಗಳು ಏಸಾವನ ಕೈಗಳು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
23ಅವನ ಕೈಗಳು ಅವನ ಅಣ್ಣನಾದ ಏಸಾವನ ಕೈಗಳಂತೆ ರೋಮಗಳುಳ್ಳವುಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಯಾರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದನು.
24ಅವನು--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಏಸಾವನೋ ಅಂದಾಗ ಅವನು--ನಾನೇ ಅಂದನು.
