ಇಸಾಕನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ಇಷ್ಟು ಬೇಗ ಅದು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು--ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನೆದುರಿಗೆ ಅದು ಬರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು ಅಂದನು.
Isaakanu tanna maganige--nanna magane, ishtu bega adu ninage hege sikkitu andanu. Avanu--ninna devaraada kartanu nannedurige adu baruvante maadidanu andanu.

- 19ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೆನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿರೀ ಮಗನಾದ ಏಸಾವನು; ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಎದ್ದು ಕೂತು ಕೊಂಡು. ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿ ಸುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಬೇಟೆಯ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡು ಅಂದನು.
- 20ಇಸಾಕನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ಇಷ್ಟು ಬೇಗ ಅದು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು--ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನೆದುರಿಗೆ ಅದು ಬರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು ಅಂದನು.
- 21ಆಗ ಇಸಾಕನುನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ನೀನೇ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಏಸಾವನು ಹೌದೋ ಅಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ ನೋಡುವಂತೆ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಾ ಅಂದನು.
- 22ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಇಸಾಕನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದನು. ಇಸಾಕನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ--ಸ್ವರವು ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಸ್ವರವಾಗಿದೆ, ಆದರೆ ಕೈಗಳು ಏಸಾವನ ಕೈಗಳು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
