ಇಸಾ ಕನು ಯಾಕೋಬನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಇಸಾಕನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟಾಗ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಏಸಾವನು ಬೇಟೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂದನು.

Isaa kanu yaakobanannu aasheervadisida taruvaaya yaakobanu tanna tandeyaada isaakana sammukhadinda horataaga avana sahodaranaada esaavanu beteyinda bandanu.

King James Version (KJV): And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.

29ಜನಗಳು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಲಿ, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳಲಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ ನೀನು ದೊರೆ ಯಾಗಿರು. ನಿನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳಲಿ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಶಾಪವೂ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವ ವರಿಗೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವೂ ಆಗಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
30ಇಸಾ ಕನು ಯಾಕೋಬನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಇಸಾಕನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟಾಗ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಏಸಾವನು ಬೇಟೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂದನು.
31ಅವನು ಸಹ ರುಚಿಯಾದ ಊಟವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದು--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಎದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನ ಬೇಟೆಯ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
32ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಇಸಾಕನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಯಾರು ಅಂದಾಗ ಅವನು--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನಾದ ಏಸಾವನು ಅಂದನು.
