ಅವನು ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ತನಗಿದ್ದ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಷ್ಮಾ ಯೇಲನ ಮಗಳೂ ನೆಬಾಯೋತನ ತಂಗಿಯೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಮಹಲತ್‌ಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡನು.
Avanu ishmaayelana balige hogi tanagidda hendatiyarallade abrahaamana maganaada ishmaa yelana magaloo nebaayotana tangiyoo aagiruva mahalatlannu tanna hendatiyaagi takkondanu.

- 11ಅವನು ಒಂದು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದಾಗ ಸೂರ್ಯಾಸ್ತಮಾನವಾದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡನು. ಅವನು ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ತಲೆದಿಂಬಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಆ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಗಿಕೊಂಡನು.
