ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಂದೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವೆನು; ಅದ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಚುಕ್ಕೆ ಮಚ್ಚೆ ಉಳ್ಳವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕುರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂದು ಬಣ್ಣದವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮೇಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚುಕ್ಕೆ ಮಚ್ಚೆ ಉಳ್ಳವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬೇರೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಅವೇ ನನ್ನ ಕೂಲಿಯಾಗಿರಲಿ.

King James Version (KJV): I will pass through all thy flock to day, removing from thence all the speckled and spotted cattle, and all the brown cattle among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats: and [of such] shall be my hire.
World English Bible (WEB): I will pass through all your flock today, removing from there every speckled and spotted one, and every black one among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats. This will be my hire.

30ನಾನು ಬರುವದಿಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ನಿನಗಿದ್ದದ್ದು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವೇ; ಈಗ ಅದು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದೆ. ನಾನು ಬಂದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಈಗ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮನೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯಾವಾಗ ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
31ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಲಾಬಾನನು--ನಿನಗೆ ನಾನು ಏನು ಕೊಡಲಿ ಅಂದಾಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು--ಏನೂ ಕೊಡ ಬೇಡ, ಇದು ಮಾತ್ರ ನೀನು ನನಗಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ನಾನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸಿ ಕಾಯುವೆನು;

33ಹೀಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಬರುವ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಬಳಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ನನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯು ನನಗಾಗಿ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುವದು. ಮೇಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚುಕ್ಕೆ ಮಚ್ಚೆ ಕುರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂದು ಬಣ್ಣವಿಲ್ಲದವುಗಳೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವು ಕದ್ದವುಗಳಾಗಿ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
34ಲಾಬಾನನು--ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಆಗಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
