ಲೇಯಳು ತಾನು ಹೆರುವದು ನಿಂತಿತೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ತನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯಾದ ಜಿಲ್ಪಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಯಾಕೋಬ ನಿಗೆ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಳು.
