ಮಾರ್ಗ ದಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವನು--ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಗೊಡಿಸು ಅಂದನು. (ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವಳು ತನ್ನ ಸೊಸೆಯೆಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ). ಅವಳು--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರೆ ನನಗೆ ಏನು ಕೊಡುವಿ ಅಂದಳು.
Maarga dinda aakeya kadege tirugikondu avanu--nannannu ninna balige baragodisu andanu. (yaakandare avalu tanna soseyendu avanige tilidiralilla). Avalu--neenu nanna balige bandare nanage enu koduvi andalu.

- 15ಯೆಹೂದನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಅವಳು ಮುಖಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವಳು ಸೂಳೆಯೆಂದು ನೆನಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
- 16ಮಾರ್ಗ ದಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವನು--ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಗೊಡಿಸು ಅಂದನು. (ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವಳು ತನ್ನ ಸೊಸೆಯೆಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ). ಅವಳು--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರೆ ನನಗೆ ಏನು ಕೊಡುವಿ ಅಂದಳು.
- 17ಅವನು--ಮಂದೆಯಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಮೇಕೆಯ ಮರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿ ಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಅವಳು--ನೀನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವವರೆಗೆ ಈಡುಕೊಡುವಿಯೋ ಅಂದಳು.
- 18ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು--ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡತಕ್ಕ ಈಡು ಏನು ಅಂದಾಗ ಅವಳು--ನಿನ್ನ ಮುದ್ರೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಡಗ ಗಳೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೋಲು ಅಂದಳು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕೆಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಆಕೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವಳು ಅವನಿಂದ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾದಳು.
