ಆಗ ಅವರು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮನೆಯ ಉಗ್ರಾಣಿಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಲಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--

17ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
18ಅವರು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮನೆಗೆ ತರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು--ಹಿಂದೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಚೀಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಸೇರಿದ ಹಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದಾಸರನ್ನಾಗಿಮಾಡಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಕತ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಅಂದರು.
19ಆಗ ಅವರು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮನೆಯ ಉಗ್ರಾಣಿಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಲಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--
20ಅಯ್ಯಾ, ನಾವು ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲ ನೆಯ ಸಾರಿ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದದ್ದು ನಿಜವೇ.
21ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾವು ವಸತಿಗೃಹಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಚೀಲಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನ ಹಣವು ಅದರದರ ತೂಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹಣವು ಅವನವನ ಚೀಲದಲ್ಲೇ ಇತ್ತು. ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
