ಆಗ ಅವರು ಯೋಸೇಫನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಅಣ್ಣತಮ್ಮಂದಿರಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಬೇರೆಬೇರೆಯಾಗಿ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬಡಿಸಿ ದರು. ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರು ಇಬ್ರಿಯರ ಕೂಡ ಊಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

- 31ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಮುಖವನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ಮನ ಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಬಿಗಿಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು--ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬಡಿಸಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
- 32ಆಗ ಅವರು ಯೋಸೇಫನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಅಣ್ಣತಮ್ಮಂದಿರಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಬೇರೆಬೇರೆಯಾಗಿ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬಡಿಸಿ ದರು. ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರು ಇಬ್ರಿಯರ ಕೂಡ ಊಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
- 33ಅವರು ಚೊಚ್ಚಲನಾದವನು ತನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲತನದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ಕಿರಿಯನು ತನ್ನ ಕಿರಿತನದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕೂತಿರುವಾಗ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು.ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತನ್ನ ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಆಹಾರವು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಆಹಾರಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಐದರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅವರು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಪಾನಮಾಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಇದ್ದರು.
- 34ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತನ್ನ ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಆಹಾರವು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಆಹಾರಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಐದರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅವರು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಪಾನಮಾಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಇದ್ದರು.
