ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೃಗಗಳೂ ಕ್ರಿಮಿಗಳೂ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳೂ ಭೂಮಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿದಾಡುವ ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮ ಜಾತ್ಯಾ ನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ನಾವೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಬಂದವು.

- 19ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೃಗಗಳೂ ಕ್ರಿಮಿಗಳೂ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳೂ ಭೂಮಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿದಾಡುವ ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮ ಜಾತ್ಯಾ ನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ನಾವೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಬಂದವು.
- 20ನೋಹನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಶು ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ (ಕೆಲವನ್ನು) ತೆಗೆದು ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
- 21ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅದರ ಸುವಾಸನೆಯು ಗಮಗಮಿಸಲು ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ--ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸುವ ದಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಹೃದಯದ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಯು ಅವನ ಚಿಕ್ಕತನದಿಂದಲೇ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದು. ನಾನು ಈಗ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಜೀವಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಹರಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.ಭೂಮಿಯು ಇರುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಬಿತ್ತುವ ಕಾಲವೂ ಕೊಯ್ಯುವ ಕಾಲವೂ ತಂಪೂ ಶೆಕೆಯೂ ಬೇಸಿಗೆಯೂ ಚಳಿಗಾಲವೂ ಹಗಲೂ ರಾತ್ರಿಯೂ ನಿಂತು ಹೋಗವು ಎಂದು ಅಂದು ಕೊಂಡನು.
