ಆಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು--ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದಂತೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವಂಥ ಯಜ್ಞವೂ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಯೂ ದಹನ ಬಲಿಗಳೂ ಪಾಪ ಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಯೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ.

7ಆಗ ನಾನು--ಇಗೋ, ಓ ದೇವರೇ, ಗ್ರಂಥದ ಸುರುಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಬರೆದದೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ನೇರವೇರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿ ದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.

9ತರು ವಾಯ--ಇಗೋ, ಓ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂತಲೂ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನು ಎರಡನೆಯದನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವ ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮೊದಲನೆಯದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುತ್ತಾನೆ.
10ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಒಂದೇ ಸಾರಿ ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ತನ್ನ ದೇಹದ ಮೂಲಕ ಆತನ ಚಿತ್ತದಿಂದ ನಾವು ಶುದ್ಧರಾದೆವು.
