ತಾವು ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಟ್ಟವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶವಿತ್ತು.

- 15ತಾವು ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಟ್ಟವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶವಿತ್ತು.
- 16ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಅವರು ಪರಲೋಕವೆಂಬ ಉತ್ತಮದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಾರೈಸುವವ ರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ದೇವರು ಅವರ ದೇವರೆನಿ ಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಒಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
- 17ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಶೋಧಿತನಾಗಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಯಿಂದಲೇ ಇಸಾಕನನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದನು; ಆ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
