ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗ ನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಪ್ರಸನ್ನತೆಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಸದುತ್ತರ ವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಹಾಳಾಗಿರುವ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯ ಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದುವಂತೆಯೂ ಜನರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗಾಗಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.

6ಆತನೇ ಈಗ ಹೀಗನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಕುಲಗಳನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತಪಡಿ ಸುವದೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ಷಿತರಾದವರನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡುವದೂ ಅಲ್ಪ ಕಾರ್ಯವೇ; ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯು ಲೋಕದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯ ವರೆಗೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನಾಗಿ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸುವೆನು.
7ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಂದ ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನು ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಅಸ ಹ್ಯನೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಸೇವಕನಿಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ವಿಮೋಚಕನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನಾದ ಕರ್ತನೂ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಕರ್ತನ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತಿ ಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿ ಅರಸರು ಏಳುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅಧಿ ಪತಿಗಳು ಸಹ ಆರಾಧಿಸುವರು.

9ನೀನು ಬಂದಿ ಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರಿಗೆ--ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗಿರಿ, ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರು ವವರಿಗೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತೋರ್ಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬಹುದು. ಅವರು ದಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಯಿಸುವರು, ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳು ಕೂಡ ಅವ ರಿಗೆ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲಾಗಿರುವವು.
10ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಸಿವೆ ಯಾಗಲಿ ಬಾಯಾರಿಕೆಯಾಗಲಿ ಇರವು. ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಝಳವೂ ಬಿಸಿಲೂ ಬಡಿಯವು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವ ರನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸುವಾತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾ ನೀರು ಕ್ಕುವ ಒರತೆಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತರುವನು.
