ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರುವವು; ಆಗ ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ--ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರುವವೆಂದು ನಮಗೆ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಯಿತಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುವರು.

King James Version (KJV): Therefore thou shalt speak unto them this word; Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Every bottle shall be filled with wine: and they shall say unto thee, Do we not certainly know that every bottle shall be filled with wine?

10ನನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಯಂತೆ ನಡಕೊಂಡು ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವ ಈ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಜನರು ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಬಾರದ ಈ ನಡುಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಹಾಗಿರುವರು.
11ಯಾವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ದಟ್ಟಿಯು ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ನಡುವಿಗೆ ಹತ್ತಿಕೊ ಳ್ಳುವದೋ ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮನೆತನವ ನ್ನೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ಜನರೂ ಹೆಸರೂ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವೂ ಮಹಿಮೆಯೂ ಆಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನನಗೆ ಹತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು; ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
12ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರುವವು; ಆಗ ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ--ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರುವವೆಂದು ನಮಗೆ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಯಿತಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುವರು.
13ಆಗ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಈ ದೇಶದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ದಾವೀದನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡ್ರುವ ಅರಸುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಅಮಲಿನಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಸುವೆನು.
14ಅವರ ತಂದೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡ ಒಬ್ಬನ ಮೇಲೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಅಪ್ಪಳಿಸು ವೆನು. ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ಕರುಣಿಸು ವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂತಃಕರುಣೆಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸು ವೆನು ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.
