1. 9ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಮಾರರ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನೂ ತಿನ್ನುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ ಅವರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳೂ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವರು.
2. 10ಆಗ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ಆ ಕೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಒಡೆದು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ,
3. 11ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ --ಯಾವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಕುಂಬಾರನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಅದು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಒಂದುಗೂಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಒಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾನು ಈ ಜನವನ್ನೂ ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ವನ್ನೂ ಒಡೆದು ಬಿಡುವೆನು; ಆಗ ಹೂಣಿಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಥಳವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ತೋಫೆತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಹೂಣಿಡುವರು.
4. 12ಹೀಗೆ ಈ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೂ ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಮಾಡು ವೆನೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ತೋಫೆತಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
5. 13ಯಾವ ಮನೆಗಳ ಮಾಳಿಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಕಾಶದ ಸೈನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ಧೂಪಸುಟ್ಟು ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪಾನದ ಅರ್ಪಣೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಯ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೋ ಆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನೆಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ವಾಗಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮನೆಗಳೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸರ ಮನೆಗಳೂ ತೋಫೆತಿನ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾಗುವವು.
