ಹೀಗೆ ಈ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೂ ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಮಾಡು ವೆನೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ತೋಫೆತಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.

- 10ಆಗ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ಆ ಕೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಒಡೆದು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ,
- 11ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ --ಯಾವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಕುಂಬಾರನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಅದು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಒಂದುಗೂಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಒಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾನು ಈ ಜನವನ್ನೂ ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ವನ್ನೂ ಒಡೆದು ಬಿಡುವೆನು; ಆಗ ಹೂಣಿಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಥಳವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ತೋಫೆತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಹೂಣಿಡುವರು.
- 12ಹೀಗೆ ಈ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೂ ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಮಾಡು ವೆನೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ತೋಫೆತಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
- 13ಯಾವ ಮನೆಗಳ ಮಾಳಿಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಕಾಶದ ಸೈನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ಧೂಪಸುಟ್ಟು ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪಾನದ ಅರ್ಪಣೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಯ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೋ ಆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನೆಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ವಾಗಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮನೆಗಳೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸರ ಮನೆಗಳೂ ತೋಫೆತಿನ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾಗುವವು.
- 14ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನನ್ನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ತೋಫೆತಿನಿಂದ ಬಂದು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದ ಅಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡು ಜನರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಊರುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನಾನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ಕೇಡನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳದ ಹಾಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
