ಆದದರಿಂದ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಚಿಪತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ವಿಷದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಯೆರೂಸಲೇ ಮಿನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟತ್ವವು ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹರಡಿದೆ.

- 16ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ --ನಿಮಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ವಾಕ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿವಿ ಗೊಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿಷ್ಫಲಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಕರ್ತನ ಬಾಯಿಂದಲ್ಲ, ಸ್ವಂತ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ದರ್ಶನ ವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
- 17ಆದರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಸಹ್ಯಿಸುವವ ರಿಗೆ ಅವರು--ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗುವದೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಡಕೊಳ್ಳುವವ ರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಡು ಬರುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.
