ಆ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ--ತಂದೆಗಳು ಹುಳಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಂದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳು ಚಳಿತು ಹೋದವೆಂದು ಇನ್ನು ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಡು ವದಿಲ್ಲ.

- 30ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನು ಸ್ವಂತ ಅಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸಾಯುವನು. ಹುಳಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇಯನ್ನು ತಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಯಾವನೋ ಅವನ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳೇ ಚಳಿತು ಹೋಗುವವು.
- 31ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮನೆತನದವರ ಸಂಗ ಡಲೂ ಹೊಸ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದಿನಗಳು ಬರುವವೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.
