ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಈ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ಮುದ್ರೆ ಹಾಕಿದ ಈ ಕ್ರಯಪತ್ರವನ್ನೂ ತೆರೆದಿರುವ ಈ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದು ಅವು ಬಹಳ ದಿವಸವಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡು.

12ಆ ಕ್ರಯಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹನಮೇಲನ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಕ್ರಯಪತ್ರ ದಲ್ಲಿ ರುಜು ಹಾಕಿದ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಸೆರೆ ಮನೆಯ ಅಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯ ರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಮಹ್ಸೇಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ನೇರೀ ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಾರೂಕನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು.

15ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು --ಈ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗಿ ಮನೆಗಳೂ ಹೊಲಗಳೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟಗಳೂ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನವಾಗುವವೆಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
16ನಾನು ಆ ಕ್ರಯಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ನೇರೀಯನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಬಾರೂಕನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು--
