1. 13ಆಗ ಬಾರೂಕನು ಆ ಪುಸ್ತಕವನ್ನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಓದಿ ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ವಿಾಕಾ ಯನು ತಾನು ಕೇಳಿದ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು.
2. 14ಆದದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೂಷಿಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಶೆಲೆಮ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ನೆಥನ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೂದಿಯನ್ನು ಬಾರೂಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ--ನೀನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಓದಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ಸುರಳಿಯನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೇರೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಾರೂಕನು ಸುರಳಿಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು.
3. 15ಆಗ ಅವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಈಗ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ನಮಗೆ ಓದಿ ಹೇಳು ಅಂದರು; ಆಗ ಬಾರೂಕನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಓದಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
4. 16ಆಗ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಅವರು ಆ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಳಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಹೆದರಿಕೊಂಡು--ನಾವು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇ ವೆಂದು ಬಾರೂಕನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
5. 17ಅವರು ಬಾರೂಕ ನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಅವನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಗೆ ಬರೆದದ್ದನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸು ಅಂದರು.
