ಆಗ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನೇರ್ಗಲ್‌ಸ ರೇಚರನೂ ಸಮ್ಗರ್‌ನೆಬೋವನೂ ಸರ್ಸೆಕೀಮನೂ ನೇರ್ಗೆಲ್‌ಸರೆಚರನೂ ರಬ್‌ಶರೀಸ್‌ ಉಳಿದ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಂದು ನಡುಬಾಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡರು.

- 4ಆಗ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಯೆಹೂ ದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನೂ ಯುದ್ಧಸ್ಥರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ತೋಟದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಿಂದ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಎರಡು ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಾಗಲಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟರು;
- 5ಅವನು ಬೈಲುಸೀಮೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಗ ವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟನು. ಆದರೆ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ ದಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನನ್ನು ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿನ ಬೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹಮಾತ್‌ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಿಬ್ಲಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಿದನು.
