1. 18ಆದರೆ ನಾವು ಗಗನದ ಒಡತಿಗೆ ಧೂಪ ಸುಡುವ ದನ್ನೂ ಪಾನದರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಹೊಯ್ಯುವ ದನ್ನೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟಂದಿನಿಂದ ನಮಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಲದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಕ್ಷಾಮದಿಂದಲೂ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲವಾದೆವು.
2. 19ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾವು ಗಗನದ ಒಡತಿಗೆ ಧೂಪಸುಟ್ಟು, ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಪಾನದರ್ಪಣೆ ಹೊಯ್ದಾಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡಂದಿರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅವಳ ಪೂಜೆ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೋಸೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಪಾನ ದರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೊಯಿದೆವಲ್ಲವೋ?
3. 20ಆಗ ಯೆರೆ ವಿಾಯನು ಗಂಡಸರಿಗೂ ಹೆಂಗಸರಿಗೂ ತನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
4. 21ನೀವೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅರಸರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ದೇಶದ ಜನರೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸುಟ್ಟಧೂಪವನ್ನೇ ಕರ್ತನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು ಅಲ್ಲವೋ? ಆತನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಬಂದದ್ದು ಅದೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೋ?
5. 22ಹೀಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವನ್ನೂ ನೀವು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅಸಹ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತನು ಇನ್ನು ತಾಳಲಾರದ್ದದರಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇಶವು ಈ ದಿನ ಇರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಹಾಳಾಗಿಯೂ ವಿಸ್ಮಯ ವಾಗಿಯೂ ಶಾಪವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದೆ.
