ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನೋಡಿತು; ನನ್ನ ಕಿವಿ ಕೇಳಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು.
Lo, mine eye hath seen all [this], mine ear hath heard and understood it.
ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾನೂ ತಿಳಿದು ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಾನು ನಿಮಗಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾದವನಲ್ಲ.
What ye know, [the same] do I know also: I [am] not inferior unto you.
ನಾನು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಮಾತ ನಾಡುವೆನು, ದೇವರ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾದಿಸಲು ನನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸುಂಟು.
Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.
ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವವರು; ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ವೈದ್ಯರೇ.
But ye [are] forgers of lies, ye [are] all physicians of no value.
ನೀವು ಮೌನವಾಗಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಒಳ್ಳೇದು! ಅದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವಾಗಿರತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.
O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom.
ನನ್ನ ವಾದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳ ತರ್ಕಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲೈಸಿರಿ.
Hear now my reasoning, and hearken to the pleadings of my lips.
ದೇವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನೀವು ದುಷ್ಟತನದಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಿರೋ? ಆತನಿಗೋ ಸ್ಕರ ಮೋಸದ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನಾಡುವಿರೋ?
Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?
ಆತನ ಮುಖ ದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸುವಿರೋ? ದೇವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತರ್ಕ ಮಾಡುವಿರೋ?
Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?
ಆತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸುವದು ಒಳ್ಳೇದೋ? ಅಥವಾ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಗೇಲಿಮಾಡುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೀವೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ಗೇಲಿಮಾಡುವಿರೋ?
Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye [so] mock him?
ನೀವು ಅಂತರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ ದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿ ಸಿದರೆ ಆತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ ದೂಷಿ ಸುವನು.
He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.
ಆತನ ಘನತೆಯು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸು ವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಆತನ ಭೀತಿಯು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವ ದಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
Shall not his excellency make you afraid? and his dread fall upon you?
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಗಳು ಬೂದಿಯಂತಿವೆ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶರೀರಗಳು ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಶರೀರಗಳಾಗಿವೆ.
Your remembrances [are] like unto ashes, your bodies to bodies of clay.
ಮೌನ ವಾಗಿರ್ರಿ; ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಬರಲಿ.
Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what [will].
ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಯಾಕೆ ಹಿಡಿಯ ಬೇಕು? ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಕೆ ಹಾಕಬೇಕು?
Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?
ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದರೂ ನಾನು ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಡುವೆನು, ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಗಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಯಾಗುವನು; ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟನು ಬರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
He also [shall be] my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
ನನ್ನ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಕೇಳಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ದೃಢ ವಚನವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಬೀಳಲಿ.
Hear diligently my speech, and my declaration with your ears.
ಇಗೋ, ನ್ಯಾಯ ವನ್ನು ಕ್ರಮಪಡಿಸಿದೆನು; ನಾನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದದೆ.
Behold now, I have ordered [my] cause; I know that I shall be justified.
ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾದಿಸುವವನು ಯಾರು? ಈಗ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ತಡೆದದ್ದೆಯಾದರೆ ನಾನು ಸಾಯುವೆನು.
Who [is] he [that] will plead with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost.
ಎರಡು ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಡ; ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳು ವದಿಲ್ಲ.
Only do not two [things] unto me: then will I not hide myself from thee.
ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ದೂರಮಾಡು; ನಿನ್ನ ಭೀತಿಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸದಿರಲಿ.
Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid.
ಆಗ ನೀನು ಕರೆಯುವಿ, ನಾನು ಉತ್ತರಿಸುವೆನು; ಅಥವಾ ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡು.
Then call thou, and I will answer: or let me speak, and answer thou me.
ನನ್ನ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳೂ ಪಾಪಗಳೂ ಎಷ್ಟಿವೆ? ನನ್ನ ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನೂ ಪಾಪವನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸು.
How many [are] mine iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression and my sin.
ಯಾಕೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡುತ್ತೀ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರು ಎಂದು ಯಾಕೆ ಎಣಿಸುತ್ತೀ?
Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine enemy?
ಬಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಎಲೆಯನ್ನು ನಲಿಗಿಸುವಿಯೋ? ಒಣಗಿದ ಕೊಳೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆನ್ನಟ್ಟುವಿಯೋ?
Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro? and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?
ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕಹಿಯಾದ ವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀ; ನನ್ನ ಯೌವನದ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೀ.
For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth.
ನನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಳದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನ ಹಾದಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವಿಟ್ಟು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀ; ನನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಹಿಮ್ಮಡಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಗುರುತು ಹಾಕುತ್ತೀ.ಅವನು ಕೊಳೆತ ವಸ್ತುವಿನ ಹಾಗೆ, ಹುಳು ತಿಂದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲದಾಗುವನು.
Thou puttest my feet also in the stocks, and lookest narrowly unto all my paths; thou settest a print upon the heels of my feet.
ಅವನು ಕೊಳೆತ ವಸ್ತುವಿನ ಹಾಗೆ, ಹುಳು ತಿಂದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲದಾಗುವನು.
And he, as a rotten thing, consumeth, as a garment that is moth eaten.
