ಯೇಸು--ಆ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸತ್ತುಹೋದವನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯಾದ ಮಾರ್ಥಳು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇಷ್ಟರೊಳಗೆ ಅವನು ನಾರುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತು ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನಗಳಾದವು ಅಂದಳು.
Yesu--aa kallannu tegeduhaakiri andanu. Adakke sattuhodavana sahodariyaada maarthalu aatanige--kartane, ishtarolage avanu naaruttaane; yaakandare avanu sattu naalku dinagalaadavu andalu.

- 41ಆಗ ಅವರು ಸತ್ತವನನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದರು. ಯೇಸು ಕಣ್ಣೆತ್ತಿ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ನೋಡಿ--ತಂದೆಯೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
