1. 1ಯೇಸು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೆದ್ರೋನ್‌ ಹಳ್ಳದ ಆಚೆಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ತೋಟ ವಿತ್ತು, ಆತನೂ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೂ ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿ ಸಿದರು.
2. 2ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಟ್ಟ ಯೂದನಿಗೂ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಗೊತ್ತಿತ್ತು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅನೇಕ ಸಾರಿ ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
3. 3ಆಗ ಯೂದನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕರಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಫರಿಸಾಯ ರಿಂದ ಜನರ ಗುಂಪನ್ನೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪಡೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ದೀಪಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಪಂಜುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಆಯುಧಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು.
