ಆಗ ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಡುವ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅದನ್ನು ಸುಗಂಧದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಾರು ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುತ್ತಿದರು.

- 39ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೊದಲು ಒಂದು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ನಿಕೊದೇಮನು ಸಹ ಬೆರಸಿದ ರಕ್ತಬೋಳ ಅಗರುಗಳನ್ನು ನೂರು ಸೇರು ತೂಕದಷ್ಟು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು.

- 42ಆ ದಿನವು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಯ ದಿನವಾದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟರು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆ ಸಮಾಧಿಯು ಸವಿಾಪದಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು.
