ಬದುಕಿಸುವಂಥದ್ದು ಆತ್ಮವೇ; ಮಾಂಸವು ಯಾವದಕ್ಕೂ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತುಗಳೇ ಆತ್ಮವಾಗಿಯೂ ಜೀವವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇವೆ.

Badukisuvanthaddu aatmave; maansavu yaavadakkoo prayojanavaaguvadilla; naanu nimage heluva maatugale aatmavaagiyoo jeevavaagiyoo ive.

61ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೂ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಗುಣು ಗುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾರೆಂದು ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಇದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಭ್ಯಂತರವಾಯಿತೋ?
62ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ತಾನು ಮೊದಲು ಇದ್ದಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಏರಿಹೋಗುವದನ್ನು ನೀವು ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಏನನ್ನುವಿರಿ?
63ಬದುಕಿಸುವಂಥದ್ದು ಆತ್ಮವೇ; ಮಾಂಸವು ಯಾವದಕ್ಕೂ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತುಗಳೇ ಆತ್ಮವಾಗಿಯೂ ಜೀವವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇವೆ.
64ಆದರೆ ನಂಬದವರು ಕೆಲವರು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ ಅಂದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಂಬದವರು ಯಾರೆಂದೂ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಡು ವವನು ಯಾರೆಂದೂ ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಯೇಸು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದನು.
65ಆತನು--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹೊರತು ಯಾವನೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರ ಲಾರನು; ಇದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆನು ಅಂದನು.
