ಆತನು--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹೊರತು ಯಾವನೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರ ಲಾರನು; ಇದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆನು ಅಂದನು.

Aatanu--nanna tandeyinda obbanige kodalpatta horatu yaavanoo nanna balige bara laaranu; idakkoskarave naanu nimage helidenu andanu.

63ಬದುಕಿಸುವಂಥದ್ದು ಆತ್ಮವೇ; ಮಾಂಸವು ಯಾವದಕ್ಕೂ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತುಗಳೇ ಆತ್ಮವಾಗಿಯೂ ಜೀವವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇವೆ.
64ಆದರೆ ನಂಬದವರು ಕೆಲವರು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ ಅಂದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಂಬದವರು ಯಾರೆಂದೂ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಡು ವವನು ಯಾರೆಂದೂ ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಯೇಸು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದನು.
65ಆತನು--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹೊರತು ಯಾವನೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರ ಲಾರನು; ಇದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆನು ಅಂದನು.
66ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಅವರು ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಸಂಚರಿಸಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
67ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಹನ್ನೆ ರಡು ಮಂದಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಸಹ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂ ದಿದ್ದೀರೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು
