ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರ ವಾಗಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ತಿಂದರೂ ಇನ್ನೂರು ಹಣಗಳಷ್ಟು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳು ಅವ ರಿಗೆ ಸಾಲುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

- 9ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಹುಡುಗನಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ; ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ಜವೆಗೋದಿಯ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳೂ ಎರಡು ಸಣ್ಣ ವಿಾನುಗಳೂ ಅವೆ; ಆದರೆ ಇಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಅವು ಯಾತಕ್ಕಾದಾವು ಅಂದನು.
