2. 31ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಲಿಬ್ನದಿಂದ ಲಾಕೀಷಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಅದರ ಎದುರಿಗೆ ಪಾಳೆಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
3. 32ಕರ್ತನು ಲಾಕೀಷನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಎರಡನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದು ಲಿಬ್ನಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅದನ್ನೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕತ್ತಿ ಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದನು.
4. 33ಆಗ ಗೆಜೆರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹೋರಾಮನು ಲಾಕೀಷಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡಲು ಬಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ಉಳಿಯದಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಅವನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಹೊಡೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
