ಯೆಹೋಶುವನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೂ ಲಾಕೀಷಿನಿಂದ ಎಗ್ಲೋನಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಅದಕ್ಕೆದುರಾಗಿ ಪಾಳೆಯಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ

- 32ಕರ್ತನು ಲಾಕೀಷನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಎರಡನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದು ಲಿಬ್ನಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅದನ್ನೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕತ್ತಿ ಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದನು.
- 33ಆಗ ಗೆಜೆರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹೋರಾಮನು ಲಾಕೀಷಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡಲು ಬಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ಉಳಿಯದಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಅವನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಹೊಡೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
- 34ಯೆಹೋಶುವನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೂ ಲಾಕೀಷಿನಿಂದ ಎಗ್ಲೋನಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಅದಕ್ಕೆದುರಾಗಿ ಪಾಳೆಯಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ
- 35ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಅದನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದರು. ಅವನು ಲಾಕೀಷಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾದರ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಕಲ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದನು.
- 36ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಂಗಡ ಎಗ್ಲೋನಿನಿಂದ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ
