ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಆಯಿಯ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ವರೆಗೂ ಚಾಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಈಟಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂದೆಗೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Yehoshuvanu aayiya nivaasigalellarannu sampoorna naashamaaduva varegoo chaachikondiruva tanna kaiyallidda eetiyannu hindegeyalilla.

- 27ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಮಾತಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲ್ಯರು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನೂ ತಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸುಲುಕೊಂಡರು.
- 28ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಆಯಿಯನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅದನ್ನು ಈ ವರೆಗೆ ಇರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಹಾಳಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವ ಮಣ್ಣುದಿನ್ನೆ ಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
