ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಪುರುಷರಾದ ಆಯಿಯ ಮನುಷ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು.

- 26ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಆಯಿಯ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ವರೆಗೂ ಚಾಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಈಟಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂದೆಗೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
- 27ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಮಾತಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲ್ಯರು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನೂ ತಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸುಲುಕೊಂಡರು.
