ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಮೂರು ದಿವಸಗಳಾದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ನೆರೆಯವರೆಂದೂ ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವವರೆಂದೂ ಕೇಳಿ ದರು.

- 17ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡು ವಾಗ ಮೂರನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನ್‌, ಕೆಫೀರಾ, ಬೇರೋತ್‌, ಕಿರ್ಯತ್ಯಾರೀಮ್‌ ಎಂಬ ಅವರ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು.
- 18ಸಭೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಸಭೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲ್ಯರ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
