ಏನಂದರೆ, ಪ್ರಧಾನರಾದ ನಾವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಜೀವದಿಂದ ಉಳಿಸಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಭೆಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕಡಿಯುವವರಾಗಿಯೂ ನೀರು ತರುವವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರಲಿ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಸಭೆಯವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

- 22ತರುವಾಯ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ನೀವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮೋಸ ಗೊಳಿಸಿ ನಾವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬಹಳ ದೂರವಾಗಿರುವ ವರೆಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನು?
- 23ಈಗ ನೀವು ಶಪಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು; ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ದಾಸತ್ವ ದಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕಡಿಯುವವರೂ ನೀರು ತರುವವರೂ ಆಗಿರು ವಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
