ಆಗ ಸಕಲ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಭೆಗೆ--ನಾವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟೆವು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾವು ಮುಟ್ಟಕೂಡದು.
Aaga sakala pradhaanaru ellaa sabhege--naavu israayelina devaraada kartana mele avarige aane ittevu; aadadarinda avarannu naavu muttakoodadu.

- 18ಸಭೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಸಭೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲ್ಯರ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
- 19ಆಗ ಸಕಲ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಭೆಗೆ--ನಾವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟೆವು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾವು ಮುಟ್ಟಕೂಡದು.
- 20ನಾವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟ ಆಣೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಕೋಪವು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಾರದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಜೀವದಿಂದ ಇರಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವೆವು.
- 21ಏನಂದರೆ, ಪ್ರಧಾನರಾದ ನಾವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಜೀವದಿಂದ ಉಳಿಸಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಭೆಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕಡಿಯುವವರಾಗಿಯೂ ನೀರು ತರುವವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರಲಿ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಸಭೆಯವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
