ಯೂದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟರು.

- 8ಯೂದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
- 9ತರುವಾಯ ಯೂದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತಗ್ಗಿನ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಾಸಿಸಿದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು.
- 10ಯೂದನು ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿರ್ಯತರ್ಬ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿದ್ದ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಶೇಷೈ, ಅಹೀಮನ್‌, ತಲ್ಮೈರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದನು.
