- 12ಅವನು ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ದೂತರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಕಾರಣವೇನು.
- 13ಅಮ್ಮೋ ನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಅರಸನು ಯೆಫ್ತಾಹನ ದೂತರಿಗೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಿಂದ ಬರುವಾಗ ಅರ್ನೋನಿ ನಿಂದ ಯಬ್ಬೋಕಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವ ನನ್ನ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡರು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ಅದನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿ ತಿರಿಗಿಕೊಡು ಅಂದನು.
- 14ಯೆಫ್ತಾಹನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ದೂತರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ
- 15ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಯೆಫ್ತಾಹನು ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತು ಇದೇ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ದೇಶವನ್ನಾ ದರೂ ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದೇಶವನ್ನಾದರೂ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡ ದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ.
- 16ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಿಂದ ಬರು ವಾಗ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ವರೆಗೆ ನಡೆದು ಕಾದೇಶಿಗೆ ಬಂದು
