ಅರ್ನೋನಿ ನಿಂದ ಯಬ್ಬೋಕಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಅರಣ್ಯದಿಂದ ಯೊರ್ದ ನಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಮೇರೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.

20ಆದರೆ ಸೀಹೋ ನನು ತನ್ನ ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ದಾಟುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ನಂಬದೆ ತನ್ನ ಜನವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಯಹಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಡಿಳಿದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
21ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಸೀಹೋನನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸಕಲ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟರು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲ್ಯರು ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದ್ದ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ದೇಶ ವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
22ಅರ್ನೋನಿ ನಿಂದ ಯಬ್ಬೋಕಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಅರಣ್ಯದಿಂದ ಯೊರ್ದ ನಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಮೇರೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
23ಈಗ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅಮೋರಿಯರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಜನವಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿ ರುವಾಗ ನೀನು ಆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳು ವಿಯೋ?
24ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕೆಮೋಷನು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀನು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಯಾರನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸುವನೋ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾವು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆವು.
