ಆಗ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಗೂಟದಿಂದ ಭದ್ರಮಾಡಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಸಂಸೋನನೇ, ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಅಂದಳು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ನಿದ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಎಚ್ಚತ್ತು ಎದ್ದು ಮಗ್ಗವನ್ನೂ ಮಗ್ಗದ ಗೂಟವನ್ನೂ ಕಿತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು.
Aaga avugalannu gootadinda bhadramaadi avanige--sansonane, philishtiyaru ninna mele baruttaare andalu. Avanu tanna nidreyinda echchattu eddu maggavannoo maggada gootavannoo kittukondu hodanu.

- 13ದೆಲೀಲಳು ಸಂಸೋನನಿಗೆ--ಈ ವರೆಗೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಂಚನೆಮಾಡಿ ನನಗೆ ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದಿ. ನೀನು ಯಾವದರಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಡಬಹುದೋ ತಿಳಿಸು ಅಂದಳು. ಅವನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಯ ಏಳು ಜಡೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ಮಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಯ್ದರೆ ಆಗುವದು ಅಂದನು.
- 14ಆಗ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಗೂಟದಿಂದ ಭದ್ರಮಾಡಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಸಂಸೋನನೇ, ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಅಂದಳು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ನಿದ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಎಚ್ಚತ್ತು ಎದ್ದು ಮಗ್ಗವನ್ನೂ ಮಗ್ಗದ ಗೂಟವನ್ನೂ ಕಿತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು.
- 15ಅವಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವಾಗ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಹೇಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀ? ನೀನು ಈ ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿ ನನಗೆ ವಂಚನೆಮಾಡಿದಿ; ನಿನ್ನ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಯಾವದರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟೋ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದಳು.
- 16ಅವಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ದಿನದಿನವೂ ತನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಪೀಡಿಸಿ ತೊಂದರೆಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಸಾಯು ವಷ್ಟು ವ್ಯಸನಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
