ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಸಂಸೋನನು ಆ ಮನೆಯ ಆಧಾರವಾದ ಎರಡು ನಡುವಿನ ಸ್ತಂಭ ಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದು ತನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈಯಿಂದಲೂ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ತನ್ನ ಎಡಗೈಯಿಂದಲೂ ಹಿಡುಕೊಂಡು--

27ಆ ಮನೆಯು ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಪುರುಷರಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿತ್ತು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಇದ್ದರು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಂಸೋನನು ವಿನೋದ ಮಾಡು ವಾಗ ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಪುರುಷರು ಹೆಚ್ಚುಕಡಿಮೆ ಮೂರು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನ ರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
28ಆಗ ಸಂಸೋನನು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರೇ, ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಎರಡು ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿ ಗಾಗಿ ಒಂದೇ ಸಾರಿ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಈ ಸಾರಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೆನಸಿ ಬಲಪಡಿಸು,
29ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಸಂಸೋನನು ಆ ಮನೆಯ ಆಧಾರವಾದ ಎರಡು ನಡುವಿನ ಸ್ತಂಭ ಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದು ತನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈಯಿಂದಲೂ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ತನ್ನ ಎಡಗೈಯಿಂದಲೂ ಹಿಡುಕೊಂಡು--
30ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಾಯಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ತನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಇದ್ದ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ಬಾಗಿದನು. ಆಗ ಮನೆಯು ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಬಿತ್ತು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವನು ಸಾಯುವಾಗ ಕೊಂದ ಜನರು ಅವನು ಬದುಕುವಾಗ ಕೊಂದ ಜನರಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದ್ದರು.ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರೂ ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಚೊರ್ಗಕ್ಕೂ ಎಷ್ಟಾವೋಲಿಗೂ ನಡುವೆ ಅವನ ತಂದೆ ಯಾದ ಮಾನೋಹನ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು. ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರುಷ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಿದನು.
31ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರೂ ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಚೊರ್ಗಕ್ಕೂ ಎಷ್ಟಾವೋಲಿಗೂ ನಡುವೆ ಅವನ ತಂದೆ ಯಾದ ಮಾನೋಹನ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು. ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರುಷ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಿದನು.
