1. 6ಆಗ ದೆಲೀಲಳು ಸಂಸೋನನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಯಾವದರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟೆಂದೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀನು ಹೇಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಡಬಹುದೆಂದೂ ನನಗೆ ದಯಮಾಡಿ ತಿಳಿಸು ಅಂದಳು.
2. 7ಸಂಸೋನನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ--ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಒಣಗದೆ ಇರುವ ಹಸಿರಾದ ಏಳು ನಾರಿನ ಬರಲು ಗಳಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಿದರೆ ನಾನು ಬಲಿಹೀನನಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
3. 8ಆಗ ಪಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ಒಣಗದೆ ಇರುವ ಹಸಿರಾದ ಏಳು ನಾರಿನ ಬರಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಅವಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳಿಂದ ಬಂಧಿಸಿದಳು.
4. 9ಹೊಂಚುಗಾರರು ಅವಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೊಠಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ದರು. ಅವಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಸಂಸೋನನೇ, ಪಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿ ಯರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಅಂದಳು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಬೆಂಕಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಸಣಬಿನ ಹುರಿಹರಿದು ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಾರಿನ ಬರಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವನ ಶಕ್ತಿ ತಿಳಿಯಲ್ಪಡದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು.
5. 10ದೆಲೀಲಳು ಸಂಸೋನನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಂಚನೆಮಾಡಿ ನನಗೆ ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದಿ. ಈಗ ನೀನು ಯಾವದರಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಡಬಹುದೋ ನನಗೆ ದಯಮಾಡಿ ತಿಳಿಸು ಅಂದಳು.
