ಆದರೆ ದಾನ್ಯರು ಅವ ನಿಗೆ--ಕೋಪಿಷ್ಠರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳದ ಹಾಗೆ, ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯವರ ಪ್ರಾಣ ವನ್ನೂ ಕಳಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಹಾಗೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವರ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿ ಸದೆ ಇರಲಿ ಅಂದರು.
Aadare daanyaru ava nige--kopishtharu ninna mele beelada haage, neenu ninna praanavannoo ninna maneyavara praana vannoo kalakollada haage, ninna svara nammalli keli sade irali andaru.

- 25ಆದರೆ ದಾನ್ಯರು ಅವ ನಿಗೆ--ಕೋಪಿಷ್ಠರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳದ ಹಾಗೆ, ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯವರ ಪ್ರಾಣ ವನ್ನೂ ಕಳಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಹಾಗೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವರ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿ ಸದೆ ಇರಲಿ ಅಂದರು.
- 26ದಾನ್ಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗ ವಾಗಿ ಹೋದರು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ತನಗಿಂತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ರೆಂದು ವಿಾಕನು ನೋಡಿ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋದನು.
- 27ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ವಿಾಕನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡವು ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವನೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದ ಯಾಜಕನನ್ನೂ ಅಪಹರಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಭರವಸವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದ ಲಯಿಷಿನ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
