ಅವರು ಯೆಬೂ ಸಿಗೆ ಸವಿಾಪಿಸಿದಾಗ ಹೊತ್ತು ಬಹಳ ಹೋಗಿತ್ತು; ಆಗ ಊಳಿಗದವನು ತನ್ನ ಯಾಜಮಾನನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಬಾ; ಈ ಯೆಬೂಸ್ಯರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ ಅಂದನು.
Avaru yeboo sige saviాpisidaaga hottu bahala hogittu; aaga ooligadavanu tanna yaajamaananige--neenu dayamaadi baa; ee yeboosyara pattanakke tirugi kondu adaralli ilukollona andanu.

- 10ಆದರೆ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಎದ್ದು ತಡಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಎರಡು ಕತ್ತೆಗಳ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ತನ್ನ ಉಪಪತ್ನಿಯ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೆಂಬ ಯೆಬೂಸಿಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಂದನು.
- 11ಅವರು ಯೆಬೂ ಸಿಗೆ ಸವಿಾಪಿಸಿದಾಗ ಹೊತ್ತು ಬಹಳ ಹೋಗಿತ್ತು; ಆಗ ಊಳಿಗದವನು ತನ್ನ ಯಾಜಮಾನನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಬಾ; ಈ ಯೆಬೂಸ್ಯರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ ಅಂದನು.
- 12ಆದರೆ ಅವನ ಯಜಮಾನನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲದ ಅನ್ಯರ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿಯದೆ ಗಿಬೆಯದ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗೋಣ ಅಂದನು.
- 13ಅವನು ಊಳಿಗದವನಿಗೆ--ಗಿಬೆಯದಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಇಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರೋಣ ಬಾ ಅಂದನು.
