- 22ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಾದ ಜನರು ಬಲ ಗೊಂಡು ಮೊದಲನೇ ದಿನ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ವ್ಯೂಹಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರಿಗಿ ವ್ಯೂಹ ಕಟ್ಟಿದರು. (ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಕರ್ತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೆ ಅತ್ತು--ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕೋ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
- 23ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನು--ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೋಗಿರಿ ಅಂದನು). ಎರಡನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮನು ಷ್ಯರು ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು.
- 24ಆಗ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನವರು ಆ ಎರಡನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಿಬೆಯ ದಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದು
- 25ಇನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಉರುಳಿಸಿದರು.
- 26ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನರೂ ಹೊರಟು ದೇವರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅತ್ತು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡು ಆ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೆ ಉಪವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕರ್ತ ನಿಗೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನದಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವು ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದದರಿಂದಲೂ
